I have always enjoyed fashion and fashion related events, especially the Met Gala. When the CAMP: Notes on Fashion exhibition was announced in conjunction with the Met Gala, I was a little too invested. “Camp” as a concept is such a muse for me and my design style. I want to continue to push myself and create more avant-garde and crazy projects; they are the most fun and rewarding to me.  

For this project, I filtered through all of the CAMP Met Gala outfits and fashion and picked out my favorites that follow Susan Sontag’s publication, “Notes on Camp”. I paired the photos of the outfits with an article of Sontag’s work that acts as a citation source for why the outfit works on theme. The inside covers are illustrations inspired by the outfits in the zine and are done by me.
