This project was extremely enjoyable for me. I had taken a Korean 101 course in college and created this as my final project. I am very passionate about music and use it as inspiration for a lot of my personal work. One of my favorite House DJ’s, Lane 8, instantly came to mind for the subject of this promotional piece. The idea behind this piece was to create a unique look for a flyer that promoted a DJ set from Lane 8 for a local club in Seoul. The reference image is pulled from a Junji Ito comic and the secondary text in Korean describes the event and where to find tickets.
